Yksisarvissukat - Unicorn socks

Ennen joulua julkaisin ohjeen kettusukkiin ja se näytti olevan suosittu ohje sivuillani. Päätin laajentaa repertuaariani ja tehdä yksisarvissukat.

Before Christmas I published my pattern for Fox Socks and it seemed to be quite popular on my blog as well as in Ravelry. I decided to broaden my horizons and made Unicorn Socks.
Here's how:

Jos haluat tehdä samanlaiset, tässä ohjeet:

1. Kudo haluamasi kokoiset sukat, tee jalkaterän viimeinen 1/3 luononvalkoisella.
Knit basic socks, do the last 1/3 of the foot with white.

 2. Tee korvat: Tee samanlaiset korvat kuin kettusukissa, mutta onpele ne kiinni hieman suipompaan asentoon. Eli: Luo 10s, kudo pyörönä yksi kerros. Kavenna kahdesta reunasta jokaisella seuraavalla kierroksella 1s, kunnes jäljellä 1s/puikko. Päättele. Tee näitä 4 kpl.

Make the ears: These are like the fox socks, but I sewed them in a little differently. Cast on 10s and knit one round. Decrease at two sides 1 stitch per needle until you have 4 stitches left. Bind off. Make 4 of these.

3. Letitä löysälle letille värikästä lankaa häntää varten. Käytin Novita 7 veljestä raitaa sateen kaaren värissä.
Braid some colorful yarn for the tail. i used Novita's 7 veljestä in the rainbow color. 

 4. Sarvi: Käytin Novitan hopeista virkkauslankaa (kartiossa). Ota glitterlankaa kaksinkertaisena ja luo 2,5mm puikoilla 6 s. Kudo pyörönä 6 krs, kudo 2 O yhteen ja kudo 2 krs vielä. Päättele ja jätä langanpäät sarven sisään täytteeksi.

Horn/Corn: I used Novita's silvery crochet yarn held double. Cast on 6 stitches with 2,5mm don's. Knit in the round for 6 rounds, then k2tog and knit two more rounds. Bind off and leave the yarn ends inside the horn as filling.

5. Ompele korvat, sarvi, häntä ja silmät kiinni sukkaan sekä tee harja vetämällä virkkuukoukulla lanka läpi sukasta. Käytin Novitan 7 veljestä raitalankaa sateenkaaren värissä. 

Sew the ears, the horn, the tail and eyes to the sock and make a mane with colorful yarn.
